The Ondo State Government has declared Monday, February 24, 2025, a public holiday to enable residents to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Olayide Owolabi Adelami.
The announcement was made in a statement issued on Friday, February 21, 2025, by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan. According to the statement, the decision underscores the significance of the event and provides an opportunity for the people of Ondo State to celebrate the new administration.
In a related development, Governor Aiyedatiwa has also lifted the restriction of movement initially imposed for the monthly environmental sanitation exercise on Saturday, February 22, 2025.
