He promised to stand by the oppressed and encourage development in the kingdom, saying the officers involved in the illegal duty had been arrested and cooling their heads in detention at Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Inspector General of Police Command Abuja.
Akinlaja stated this at the thanks giving service held at the Redeemed Christian church of God (Power Sanctuary) Ondo, over the invasion of his farm and brutalization of his workers by the men of the Nigeria police force.
The officers were said to have acted based on false information obtained from an alleged land grabber known as Stella Akinbobola.
Akinlaja, who is the owner of Akiavic farms where the police officers aided the invasion, appreciate God for preserving the lives of all that were present at the scene from stray bullets of the overzealous police officers.
He thanked the church for their prayers and commended the people of the kingdom for the love shown to him since the incident occured.
According to him, “it will be insane, for any armless man to disobey an armed officer particularly those on illegal duty. therefore, “Inanjo Ogiri osa” was not moved by any intimidation or oppression from any quarters as long as it will lead to the end of land grabbing in Ondo Kingdom.”
The former MHR host friends and well wishers that visited his house after the church Thanksgiving.
Recalled, at about 11:00am on Friday 4th February 2022 when the workers at Akiavic Farm were trying to repel the intruders who claimed that madam Stella Akinbobola sold a parcel of land to them from Akiavic farm.
Suddenly a crop of armed policemen who had laid ambush surrounded the farm and began to assault all harmless workers and aides to Hon Akinlaja in the farm including sporadic shooting.
In the process all the workers numbered 17 were detained and later whisked to Alagbon police station in Lagos same day.
The question is, how on earth will a land dispute from Ondo East local government area resulted to arrest from Lagos? Was it the case that there was no police command in the area or the absence of Police Commissioner in the state to have warranted invitation of fully armed policemen from Alagbon Lagos to a peaceful farm in Ondo?
Few days later, the arrested worker were returned to Ondo East magistrate court situated in Oka High Court Ondo.
“Why the return of invitation and investigation from Alagbon Lagos, to magistrate Court in Ondo”?
Husband and wife were arrested among the seventeen heroes of land grabbing, their kids were left to be catered for by neigbours for the period they illegally spent in detention It is worthy of note that, innocent people who were doing petty farmwork to fend for their families were the victims of this wicked heart!
To the glory of God Hon Joseph Iranola Akinlaja ensured the release and bail of all workers involved

“I also heard them making derogatory remarks about me. So, I waited in the sitting room for my rival to come out of the room and when she came out, I challenged her over her unkind words.
“Rather than the deceased to be apologetic, she suddenly grabbed my clothes which made me angry
