Ondo NUJ congratulates Akeredolu’s Media Aides

On behalf of the entire members and leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ondo state Council, I wish to congratulate some of our members appointed to serve in the administration of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

The list of our members among the newly appointed media Aides include; Ojo Oyewamide, Leke Akeredolu, Mary Agidi, Dapo Aruwajoye and Tobilola Fademi.

We have no doubt that both Ojo Oyewamide and Leke Akeredolu (both from the NUJ Correspondents’Chapel) who served in the first term administration of Governor Akeredolu diligently and Mary Agidi (Secretary, NUJ Owena Press & NAWOJ Treasurer) who is joining the media team for the first time, will represent the profession effectively and indubitably.

Ondo NUJ again appreciates Governor Akeredolu for finding some journalists worthy of serving in his government.

We appeal to all media professionals in the state and beyond to ensure that those appointees succeed and advise our colleagues in government to sustain smooth media relationship with practising journalists to achieve the administration’s set-goals.

Once again, Congratulations to all the appointees and wish you well.

Signed:
Leke Adegbite
State Secretary,
March 3rd, 2021.
