The People United By Sports (PUBS) have joined other well wishers across the globe to felicitate with the Governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN on his 66th birthday anniversary.
The President of PUBS, Seun Betiku in a release made available to newsmen in Akure the state capital described Akeredolu as a sports loving Governor who has contributed immensely to the all round development of sports in the state.
He commended the Governor for identifying his Deputy, Hon. Lucky Ayedatiwa to lead the Management Committee of Sunshine Stars and Sunshine Queens. The move which he said has brought stability and unmatched feat into Sunshine Stars which ensured the club ends the season on 11th on the log.
He added that Akeredolu is a fearless crusader of good governance who always put his people above personal interest.
Betiku noted: “Akeredolu achievements in the area of security, would remain indelible in the history of the nation.”
He lauded the Governor for the industrialization projects which is manifesting in Ondo State Industrial Park at Omotosho in Ore, Odigbo Local Government, Egg powder factory in Uso and payment of workers salary as when due”. He added.
