A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in ondo state, Hon. Femi Adekanmbi has expressed deep sadness over the news of the death of a governorship aspirant, Dr Paul Akintelure.
In a press statement personally signed by him, Adekanmbi described the late Akintelure as a first class medical doctor, a gentleman, an authentic Nigerian leader and one of the most outstanding son of Ondo State, who dedicated his life to the service of the people, the state and country in general.
The former commissioner said the death of the former deputy governorship candidate to former governor Rotimi Akeredolu, in the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria was not only a loss to the family but also the entire state.
“I extend my heartfelt prayers for the eternal repose of Dr Akintelure’s soul, and encouraged the grieving family to find solace in the remarkable life the deceased lived which was marked by unique commitment to serving God and humanity”
“His huge contributions to our party’s victories in several elections in his home town in Igbotako and Okitipupa local government remains highly commendable.”
He prayed to God to accept the deceased’s soul and grant the family fortitude to bear the loss.
